Social issues are not as simple as they may seem to be. Progress is a gradual process that will depend on us if we’re ready to change to be able to solve the problem. Just like what I have learned in the previous discussions, the public must recognize the situation first as a problem before solving the issue. Define what the problem is, and whether it is a problem at all, before we can identify the solution. It is really helpful to address this because some people didn’t see Generation Gap as a concerning major problem in the society. They cannot see the effects and dangers of it that are already existing in our daily lives, creating conflicts between generations. Discussing social issues in everyday life helps create awareness, and better understanding of problems regarding their exact nature and causes, etc. By creating an informative website to spread the awareness will help us to slowly filled that gap. Let’s make the differences of each generation a strength for all of us. We should accept, understand, connect ideas, opinions, beliefs, and values with each other. It’s perfectly fine to disagree, but we should at least agree to disagree and respect each other’s opinions on this matter.
